Wellshire’s staff loves to host Birthday and Anniversary celebrations. Whether it’s a formal celebration or an informal gathering, Wellshire has all the assets necessary to create a successful party… Wellshire’s central location, ample free parking, reasonable pricing, beautiful facilities, incredible cuisine and great service.

Wellshire has the ability to offer small intimate events for 20 guests up to large events of 600 guests and everything in between.

Due to the wide variety of banquet rooms, many of our sit-down birthday and anniversary celebrations start with cocktails in the beautiful Onyx Lounge and move to a different room to continue the celebration. With its barrel vaulted high-beamed ceiling, 28 foot long custom built onyx bar rail, complete with an ornate brass elephant handrail supports, beautiful gas fireplace, belt driven elephant-ear fan (like those originally used by Indian royalty), this is a very special room, and a memorable place to start or end a party.

From the Onyx Bar, you then have the option to move to a number of different rooms, depending on your needs and size of your party. For smaller parties, we have the beautiful near-by Hunt room, with its high ceiling, ornate antler chandeliers, rich tapestries and whimsical accessories that take you back to an earlier era and can comfortably accommodate 20 to 120 seated guests or 20 to 250 for heavy hors d’oeuvres.

The first floor Windsor Room, with its beautiful stained glass windows, vaulted beamed ceilings, ornate chandeliers and views of the golf course and mountains from its 20 foot high windows is a perfect fit for up to 100 seated guests or 200 for cocktails.

For slightly larger parties, the upstairs Tudor Room with its beamed ceiling covered by dark cork and beautiful views of the golf course creates a sense of stately hospitality and intimacy not often found in a room that can comfortably accommodate up to 130 seated guests or 250 patrons for a service of heavy hors d’oeuvres.

Our heated and cooled covered patio, the Cambridge Room, with views overlooking the ninth green of the Wellshire Golf Course, is a very popular option, especially with the ability to raise the sides of the pavillion to enjoy the surrounding mature trees and gardens. The Cambridge room can comfortably accommodate 150 guests seated or 250 for heavy hors d’oeuvres.

Wellshire’s largest parties utilize our ability to erect the Mountain View pavillion erected to order between the 18th green and Clubhouse. Once again, the Mountain View pavillion offers spectacular views of the stately golf course, the Rocky Mountain Range and Downtown Denver. We can comfortably accommodate up to 250 seated guests or 400 for heavy hors d’oeuvres.

For that special wedding anniversary, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, Sweet 16 party, 21st birthday occasion… to a wild 60th celebration, Wellshire can make any of your parties a huge success.
